Finally I have some time for card making and scrapbooking. This winter was really busy, both in school, work and family time. Now I am enjoying a two week summer holiday with my family. Today my husband and my girls went to the swimming pool and I had some me time at my craft table, I made this card after I got a request for a wedding card. I think I will make a few more today and tonight since I have my crafting spirit by my side.

I've been refreshing my memory of knitting lately and made these hats and neck warmers for two little friends for christmas. My younger daughter was my model while I took the picture. They are made from 100% Icelandic wool.

Geeeezz! Where did all the time go? It's almost christmas and I have just made one christmas card to show here. Well, school books, exams, essays, and other stuff have been taking most of my time lately, and these past few weeks I have been knitting a few christmas presents too.

I drove into the country side and visited a bunch of friends who were scrapbooking. I got there about noon and the plan was to drive home after dinner time. Well, I got home today, didn't feel like driving back home in the middle of the night so I stayed over for the night. The great (scrapbooking/card) spirit was all over the place and I managed to create 7 cards :) So here they are for you to enjoy :)

Hey ya'll finally I have some time to update my blog.... I have been so busy lately with school and work stuff and still have to find some balance between beeing a university student, working, keeping the home clean and of course taking care of my kids. In all this I really want to squeeze in some time for my hobbies, cardmaking/scrapbooking and the gospel choir. PHEW!!! I really would appreciate some time management classess this semester :)

Today, finally, I bought the bind it all machine, I wanted to buy it for my birthday present in April but when I was getting around to it, it was sold out in the only store that sells them here in Iceland. So I waited for the next shipment. Today, I finally picked up me beautiful pink machine and tried it already. Made a very simple notebook to note down some stuff I have to read for school :) I really look forward to make more projects with my lovely new gadget :)

So here's a pic, I took it with my very old camera it has only 2,1 megapixels and the battery last for about five shoots but it worked :) Mine is still in the repair shop, I'm really starting to get irritated because of it and am calling them every week now to as them to speed things up, I mean it has been more than three months now!!

Hope to have some more time to make cards soon...

Hi y'all! I decided to try using my scanner to upload the image, cause my camera is still in the repair shop, unfortunately it will be very expensive to repair it (about 45.000 ISK wich is around $356). But hopefully I will have it back soon.

This card is made for week 15 of Just magnolia challence blog, this is Tilda from the new summer collection wich is totally adorable, the paper is fro making memories. I love this great sketch made be Tab.

Even though I haven't been uploading any pics here I have been making lots of cards, maybe I will upload them someday.

Here is my entry for just magnolia week 7. I recently got these flowers, metal embie and pearls from papirlofted in Norway, I love them so much I already want to place another order ;)

This card shows Edwin trying to catch some butterflies in a bunch of flowers.

Magnolia challence 6

This weeks challence was to make a shaped card, nothing square though... so I decided since I haven't recieved the nestabilities I just ordered to use my good old coluzzle to make a circle. This is of course Tilda, painted with Ranger ink. I'm also using petaloo flowers and zva bling :)

Þessi tvö eru náttúrulega alveg hrikalega sæt :) Ég ákvað að taka fram gömlu punchana mína og gerði blómið með þeim :) Annars er þetta bara það sama og alltaf stimplarnir eru litaðir með ranger bleki, pappírinn er bara úr afgangakassanum, man ekkert hvaða týpa hann er.

Gerði þetta kort fyrir DT í Skröppu, þetta er brúðarkort og efniviðurinn að sjálfsögðu að mestu fenginn í skröppunni. Þetta eru magnolia stimplar, petaloo blóm, Zva bling, bazzil pappír þessi doppótti var í útsölurekkanum hjá þeim í Skröppunni.

Ég gerði þessa sætu Tildu í dag, fór í langþráða ferð á pósthúsið að ná í sendinguna mína í dag og fór beint heim að gera kort :)

Ég notaði pp frá october afternoon, ræmuna sem búið er að embossa með doppum átti ég í afgangakassanum.

Skellti í þetta heima í veikindunum, þetta er maskað þannig að fyrst stimplaði ég Tildu, stimplaði svo á blað aðra sem ég klippti út og smellti yfir hana. Stimplaði bekkinn og gerði það saman við hann og stimplaði að lokum tréð. Þetta var smá svona tilraunastarfsemi hjá mér. Myndin er full stór en þetta er 6x6 tommu kort og ég hefði nú alveg viljað koma fyrir smá skrauti :)

Ein blekuð, ákvað að prófa að nota MIIIIIIKIÐ blek! Finnst það nú bara koma nokkuð vel út og ætla að prófa það aftur við tækifæri :)

Ég keypti mér Söru Kay stimpla fyrir svona ári síðan, en hef ekki verið að nota þá neitt rosalega mikið, það eru oft sv mikil smáatriði í þeim og erfitt að mála þá en stelpan er greinilega að verða aðeins öruggari með pensilinn og lagði í söru kay :)

I bought these Sarah Kay stamps a year ago but haven't been using them that much, they tend to be very detailed and kinda hard to paint them, aleast I thought so but I getting more practise painting so I decided to try some Sarah Kay :)

Þessi sæta spæta er frá sara kay sem eru alveg í uppáhaldi hjá mér. Alveg gordjöss stimplar!!

Kortið er úr Bazzil pappír, pappírinn undir er frá Basic gray, ég renndi honum í gegnum cuttlebuggið með embossing móti. Dökkrauði pappírinn er frá BoBunny og myndin er lituð með ranger ink bleki. Blómin eru frá Prima.

This card is made with Bazzil cardstock, pink from basic grey and the darker one is from BoBunny. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the scribblings on to the pink pp. The image is stamped with stazon and painted with ranger ink. Flowers are from Prima.

Dundaði mér við að mála þetta sæta skrímsli í dag, svona á meðan ég var heima með mín eigin :) Stimpillinn er frá Whippersnapper, blái pappírinn er frá SU held ég alveg örugglega kom með í pakka frá Arnheiði í USA og græni sæti pappírinn í bakgrunninum er frá K&Company.

I was at home with my little monsters today and have time inbetween battles to make cards. Made this cute little monster (whippersnapper) the blue pp is from SU I think and the green one from K&Company.

Still using leftovers, I have to try another sheet of paper for my next card. Those colors are still some of my favorites, orange, brown and green but next time I will do something totally different.

Monkey buisness

This monkey is so cute, I bought it from Whipper snapper designs a few months ago. I painted it with Reinker dye inks. I'm trying to use leftovers for my cards so I have made a few cards using the same sheet of paper now, I love stripes so much and polkadots so I guess you will see a lot of them in my cards ;) So this is basically just stuff I had laying on me scrap table the card is made from Bazzil cardstock, the background is from my leftover box, can't remember the name, the image is stamped with stazon ink on 300 gram watercolor paper then colored, as I said above with Reinker dye inks. I use a tiny tiny brush when I paint and lots and lots of water. First I color the image in að gentle color and then try to build up the shadows. I not as good at this as many of my cardmaking Idols but I think I'm getting the hang of it as I practise :)

Smellti í eitt ljónakort. byrjaði á myndinni í gær og ætlaði að gefa einum 3ja ára gutta. En náði ekki að klára svo að ég fann annað fyrir hann í staðinn. Kláraði svo ljónið í kvöld og er nokkuð ánægð með það. Mig vantar reyndar 3D púða og þarf að fjárfesta í þeim um mánaðarmótin ;) En þau eru sem betur fer alveg að koma vei!

Made this cute lion for að birthday card yesterday, but I took me too long to paint it so I had to give another one instead, but I finished it tonight and I am quite pleased with it. I need to buy some 3D pads, I'm totally run out of them, as I love to add sem 3D effect to my cards and scrapbooking.

Á laugardaginn kíkti ég aðeins í Ölver á skvísurnar sem voru á helgarhitting þar. Ég gerði 3 kort og eitt af þeim var keypt á staðnum (fyrsta selda kortið mitt). Ég fékk að taka mynd af því á myndavél einnar en á eftir að verða mér úti um myndina. En ákvað að gera annað svipað í gær. Þe með sömu stimplamyndum. Mér finnst þessi tvö svo endalaust mikil krútt :)

Last saturday I took a trip to visit some girls who where on a weekend scrapping getaway. I created 3 cards and one of them I sold (My first card sold). I took a picture of it on some other chicks camera but I haven't recieved the picture yet. Then I decided to create a new card yesterday using the same stamps, they are so adoreble these lovebirds ;)

Skellti í eitt kort í kvöld, finnst samt vanta meiri skreytingar, kannski ég dúlli meira við það á morgun í Ölveri. Ætla að fara að halla mér núna enda klukkan orðin meira en tvö... ÚBS!!! Tíminn líður alltof hratt þegar maður sest niður að föndra :)

Just made this card tonight, but I want to decorate it a lil' more. But its bed time now so I will try to decorate it some more tomorrow.

Gamalt og gott

Ég er að reyna að nýta gamla pappírinn sem ég á. Ég pantaði þennan pappír einhvern tímann en hef aldre fílað hann í skrappið. Ákvað að prófa að nota hann í kort og fíla hann svona sæmilega í það.

Stimpillinn er auðvitað magnolia og hann er stimplaður með stazon bleki og síðan litaður með Ranger bleki. Blómin eru alveg öruggleg frá Prima og blingið er Say it in crystals frá Prima. Veit ekki hvaðan borðinn er, en ég keypti hann í skrappbúð hér heima.

I'm trying to use up my old pp. I ordered this pp a long time ago but never felt like using it for my scrapbooking, so I decided to try and use it for cards, I like it so and so.

The stamp is of course from magnolia and stamped with stazon ink and colored with Ranger Reinkers Ink. The flowers are from Prima and so are the bling swirls. I bought the ribbon I used in a local scrapbooking store.

Ég ákvað að búa mér til smá blogg til að birta kortin sem ég geri. Mér finnst alveg rosalega gaman að búa til kort og ég gjörsamlega eeeelska magnoliu stimplana. Þeir eru bara gordjöss!!

Ég mála með Reinker blekinu frá Ranger, pensli og þynni út með vatni.
